It is land fort. Situated on the bank of Bhima river, the fort had witnessed cruel torture to Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. To pay homage to this legend Maratha warrior I decided to see this fort.
There are five ancient temples in the fort. You will see amazing architecture on these masterpieces.

Pune-Hadapsar-Yawat-Patas- Daund(Turn left after Patas)- Nimgaon -AajNuj- Pedgaon(Fort village)

what is the distance from PUNE , can i travel on bike ?Can the fort be explored in one day?
ReplyDeleteIt is around 75km from Pune. Yes , you can travel by bike. Fort can be explored within one day.it would be good to start early from Pune.
