Kolaba fort is situated at the shore of Alibag. Alibag is popular tourist destination due to long, white sand beaches. Kolaba fort is built and strengthened by Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to make it as chief naval station. It is 2 Km from shores of Alibag. You can walk to the fort during low tide. Boats, horse-carts are also available.
