Rajmachi

Rajmachi is made up of twin fortress named Manranjan and Shrivardhan. It was constructed during Satvahan dynasty to keep watch on Borghat(ghat between Mumbai and Pune).

We started from Lonavala station and asked people abt Tungarli...........there is not at all any chances of missing the route, unless and until u make silly moves..The route passes through Tungarli village then tugarli lake and from there the nature's paradise will company u.................Lush greenery, numerours waterfalls makes u feel sky high.

Rajmachi was great experience..............It was first time i walked down about 30KM in a day along with Rehan,Sumya and Sudhir............All of us enjoyed a lot throughout the trek............The trek route to the Rajmachi is a cakewalk(made up of mud) :) .........it's simple straight route without any ascend..........which is the only relief thing...............but the return journey makes u exhausted for sure...........

The route to Rajmachi is well defined till the end......

We took almost 5 hrs to reach 2 machi area. The machi has temple of Bhairavnath......the route infront of temple goes to
shrivardhan  and route going behind the temple goes to Manranjan......
The views from both the Manranjan and Shrivardhan citadels are beautiful.
